COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Acadian Vienna Amber is in the classic Viennese style, combining several malts (including Munich and Caramel) to achieve the amber color and sweetness, with just enough Hallertau hops to make the beer complex yet smooth.

I love this beer. I wish it was still available.A very bold earthy malt background, lots of caramel and toffee sweetness throughout, and very well balanced. Please start making this beer again!

12oz bottle- A dark amber body with a decent head and an aroma of nice malts and caramel. Taste the same and well balanced. Nice brew.

This WAS a very good local beer. Unfortunately, it’s now a defunct brewery. New place has opened up, and the original brewmaster is back, but he hasn’t started making it again. In it’s heyday, when the original Acadian was open, you could get this stuff for $1 a pint at the bar! The good old days.

Excellent! Big bold taste but not bitter, good aftertaste and can be consumed in quantity. One of my favorite comercial brews.

This one also a very unique, undefined earth element to it. Quite tart on the first sip, full bodied sweet throughout till the finish.

Very carmelly with a distinctive cedar taste to it. Don’t know if they use cedar barrels or what, but it adds a very distinctive taste. Very thick, so it takes a while to drink. Not too sweet, but a tad (tangy?) at times.

Very good Vienna style amber lager. Very malty, with enough hops to prevent excessive sweetness.

Amber color, quick failing head, appreciable malt character, slightly wet. Not much bitter. Some kind of dank or faint

Best of the Acadian line. Very sweet taste and the color is a very dark red.
