Ogi’s (thanks!). Cool concept, glad to have kept the can. The beer, however... Poured a shiny yellow-golden body with a small white head. Light agrumey, vaguely hoppy nose. Whoa, slightly better than expected. Honey, vegetables and herbs in the taste, meh, not too brilliant, not too shoddy. Light bitterness in the end.

Canned. Golden with a white head with short duration. Aroma is fresh grass and hay. Flavor is slightly malty and cereal. Watery and light final.

Can [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m. Pours a clear pale gold with a small diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of corn and vegetal notes -- ugh -- along with some malt, grain, honey and apples. Flavour is watery and sweet with corn, grain and honey. Light to average bodied. Not good at all -- I’m glad I’m not a fan who would feel obliged to drink this.

Metalchopz (1785) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 12, 2013
Single can from a Gatineau, IGA. Celebrating what could of been the longest game in NHL finals (with some AC/DC playing in the Chicago arena). Pours a light golden colour with a big frothy white head, decent retention and dirty lacing. Aromas of sweet malts and citrus at first. Then, the hop comes out creating a weird smell with slight chemicals hints. Medium-bodied and wet all the way. The malt is sweet tasting, but less than expected, with the hop balancing things, in a grassy finish. So, for a pale lager, not as bad as I thought, as the hop gives this one a boost.

Geiserich (2579) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JUN 7, 2013
Can: Grainy aroma with light grassy hop notes. Golden color, small white head. Flavor is quite grainy, straw, metalic hops. Cool name and design, weak beer.

Head: white, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: pale yellow, clear. Aroma: malt, some slight sourness. Taste: malt sweetness, low to moderate hop bitterness with a bitter and astringent finish. Not as bad as I expected.

2013-05-11 / 2013-05-24. Crisp pale yellow, small white head. Drank most of it from the can, because its F’ing Metal. Aroma and flavour are industrial pale malt, light bitterness, mild grassy hops. Average to light bodied palate. Shockingly inoffensive it is a pretty straightforward mainstream lager that benefitted from being chilled. Can via trade with hoppypocket

Can. Golden color with medium white head. Odd aroma of old malt. Sweet malty taste with metallic notes and light bitterness in finish.

Not much scent. The taste was a little more but not that much. Thin aftertaste. Have a crappy beer and turn on a famous brand, you get this kind of beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl / King of Beer @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Obnoxious big honkin’ can shared by jercraigs and mabel with me and blankboy. Clear gold, smallish fizzy diminishing white head. Aroma is cheap apple juice with a hint of weeds and creamed corn, some alcohol. Taste - stale grain, weeds, oxidized apple cores and a bit of fusel alcohol. Light, slick, weak carbonation, nasty finish. Not completely horrible, but daaaaamn,.

Eructoblaster (2518) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 17, 2013
Can - 500ml. Brewed by Brasserie Licorne (Saverne, France). Boring golden body with heavy carbonation and a thin, fading white frothy head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with grassy, corny, and bready hints. Taste is bland, without being too bad. It carries herbal notes and ends with a short bitter/metallic finish. Useless stuff, but the can is cool.
