Serving: from bottle--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles. Aroma: light apple/honey, mead-like aroma. Appearance: no head, no lacing. Clear, light-yellow body. Taste: moderately sour initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: light body with oily texture and lively carbonation. Overall: good. Easy to drink and tasty.

This is a pretty decent and fairly dry hard cider. It is a very plain looking pale yellow color and headless. The fermentation character here is completely clean, leaving the focus entirely on apples and some floral notes in the aroma. This is nicely tart, which lends a crisp character that lends drink-ability. I might complain this is a bit on the bland side but this is really rather good for what it is.

Sweet and tart in taste, this cider is good, but misses the spice quality of some others.

12 oz bottle at Cactus Jack’s into a pint glass. Gold and clear with minimal head, no lacing. Apples, apple juice, medium to heavy sweetness and lightly tart. Average body, kind of refreshing.

Part of a side-by-side cider tasting, thanks David! Poured from bottle into a snifter. Clear golden colour. Predictable aromas and flavours of fermented apple juice, but fairly harsh, metallic, and one-dimensional compared to others we sampled. Strong carbonation, too much bite.

Not too fruity or sweet like most ciders. Has a nice sour bite to it. Starts off with a nice soft flavor.

Bottle. Clear pale pour with very minimal head. Mild sweet apple aroma and the same on taste. Something a little artificial in the taste as well. Decent beverage but I’ve had lots of ciders that are much better than this.

Bottle. Poured very pale yellow no head. Sweet apple juice flour aroma. Vom acidic taste.

We did a blind taste test with this cider and 4 other ciders to objectively determine which one is best. The other ciders were: Woodchuck, Angry Orchard, ACE, Hornsby’s, and Strongbow. You can check it out here: http://youtu.be/Dk02pKd09Q8

Bottle. Clear light golden pour with a white head. Apple within a light body, good balance of sweetness. East to drink.

Bottle pour. Looks like water. A nearly clear with just a tinge of yellow. Still for the most part. The aroma is almost nonexistent. Taste is lightly tart apple. Light body and mouthfeel. No detectable carbonation.
