Same Sly Fox pint glass. Clear, slight amber color. Minerally & medicinal aroma. Mott’s & a little burnt sugar. A little vegetabley on the nose too. Could this be just their peary with some stale caramel?... Taste is really mild compared to their other ciders. Sweetness starts the same as the rest of their sugary candy, but it’s muted a bit. I get some canned apple pie filling. It follows with a noticeable roll of honey, that’s a little toasted even. Feel is a touch thicker, with quite a bit less carbonation. It dries out on the end some, leaving remnants of honey & some relieving bitterness.

On tap at the ciderpub, 3/11/09. Clear golden with no head. Honey dominates the aroma with some old apples behind--pretty sweet. Flavor is much the same, though the sweetness isn’t as cloying as I’d have thought. Semi-dry finish. Light body with low carbonation. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would.

This clear yellow cider poured with a few bubbles fizzing up from the bottom of the glass. Smells like apple juice and taste like apple juice - with a bit of carbonation and a soft alcohol bite.

Draft at the cider pub. Dark amber color; sort of like old honey. Mild apple aroma. Refreshing lightly cooked apple. Not over cooked. Not really sweet, but not really dry. Prefer it to the plain cider.

Bottle. Golden with steady carbonation. Aromas are earthy, sweet apple with caramel and some misplaced honey. Flavours are sweet ripe apple with dark honey. Earthy pear with light citrus sourness. Mediocre.

A Mes rate: bottle at the Crosse Keys ’Sporks.
Pale gold colour. Bloody hell it smells bad. It’s pretty much beyond description. Seriously bad apples and a boarderline 1. Taste is very slightly better giving up some sweet nasty apples. Really bad cider.
