Courtesy of Degarth. Pours a watery gold with bubbles clinging to the bottom of the glass. The aroma is sweet green apples and sweet tart apple candy. The taste is the same as the nose with candied apples, tart apple candy and an odd vegetable note. That odd note becomes distracting the more I drink causing me to want to drink less of it. It actually tastes pretty harsh before I give up and move on.

does not count  Aug 11, 2008 On Tap at Barley and Hops Tavern. Pours almost clear, no head. Aroma of ... nondescript apple/pear/tartness. Dry and alcohol level is well disguised. My favorite of CCC’s ciders, but not something I drink regularly.

Jun 30, 2008 On-tap at the Ace in-the-hole Pub in Sebastopol. Pours clearish green yellow, no head. Smells of faint apples. Tastes appley and slight rotten. Dry, thin body, fizzy carbonation.

Apr 10, 2008 Pours a very tranparent with very bubly head. Smeels of apples, grapes. Taste is is crisp apples and some orange zest.Palate is lacking very sharp.

Mar 28, 2008 I am not going to go into further detail about the flavor profile of this cider. All I have to say is that it’s an amazing cheap and tasty alternative to white or sparkling wine (or even other ciders). Nice and dry, yet still very fruity, 8%, and it costs less than $4 a bomber. It may not compare to world-class BEER but if you can call what La Face Cachee de la Pomme does "cider," Ace Joker doesn’t deserve to be kicked around as much as it has been here.

Jan 31, 2008 almost crystal clear with a high fizzy carbonation taste. its got an extremely dry taste with very little of what was once apples. Almost like a Champagne. It doesnt taste like it has 8% and that’s a good thing
