Clear yellow with a white head. The flavor and aroma is a mix of apples and pears, with some sugar added.

Casey’s draft at Thomas Avenue Beverage Co. Rather still, clear, gold color. Nice flavor that reminds me of a sour apple Jolly Rancher with a hint of pear. Fine.

Bottle - snifter
Appearance - Bubbly yellow, chapagne
Aromas - Hints of pear, abundant apples, sour
Taste - Crisp apple, hints of pear, tart, dry
Notes of pears were apparent here, but nowhere near the tart of apples. Undertones were dry and subtle; apples, lemon grass and grapes were light and fruity. Pretty darn good.

The Ace pear cider pours as pale yellow beverage with little head. The aroma is faint, but I can still notice both apple and pear. As I taste, the cider is somewhat sour, with a little sweetness. The palate is strong, not too smooth but not bitter either. A pleasant drink, but it doesn’t stand out very much.

Enjoyed on tap at the Boiler Room in Chicago, IL while eating dinner with some friends. App very clear pale yellow with very thin white head. Aroma pear, vanilla, cinnamon, very sweet but tasty. Taste is also sweet but has a definite crispness to it, pear and vanilla presence, I’m really liking this stuff.

Tap. Pours a clear amber with a few bubbles and a very slight head. Taste is light and fruity and a refreshing sweetness without being too sweet. This is a good cider.

12oz bottle although I have had this one on tap. I cannot believe the bad reviews for this one. Crisp clean and refreshing palate, yes sure it is light, but yes it is cider, it’s supposed to be. Flavor is not lacking in this one, I could drink it all day, pear and apple flavors are very vivid. My favorite pear cider to date.

Tasted from bottle into tulip glass. Poured a very clear, very light golden yellow color of, well, apple juice. Some thin white foam initially which quickly dissipated. I thought I had bought a perry, but the ratebeer description says made from100% pure apple juice with pear essence, whatever that means. Very crisp, tangy and sweet with highly effervescent carbonation. Long lasting pear tartness on the tongue and roof of the mouth. The bottle says "an exhilirating alternative to wine or beer." I’d agree with that statement, if you’re in the mood. Ace Pear Cider is much more along the lines of champagne than any beer, and would work fine for a toast on a special occasion.

Clear light golden color. Watermelon stick candy, sweet pear aromas. Medium bodied with average co2. Lightly sweet, earthy green pear juice, ripe cantalope flavors, juicy crisp finish--not bad at all

Clear, light yellow, good carbonation. The taste is very light and has a good pear flavor. The finish is fairly dry and leaves a good pear taste.
