COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ace Pear is made from a base of 100% pure, local apple juice. Pear essence is added to give the cider its distinctive pear taste; a taste so fresh and natural it is already proving as popular as its more traditional apple counterpart.

Draft at Clinton hall NYC. Pours a light gold color. Taste is not overly apple cider. A little more pea with a crisp tadte. Very good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle into New Belgium globe. pours flat, no headnose reminds me of jolly rancher candies. I think I can smell the sugar. Taste is initially tart and then sweet, then finishes dry. this is like a wine. Has a somewhat refreshing character, but there’s something in there that hits me in the chest like a burn. not alcohol burn, but like a chemical burn. maybe its a sulfite or something. it is really making this a bad experience. I think white wine drinkers may like this, but I prefer malt based beverages.

22 ounce bottle purchased at The Davis Food Co-Op. The aroma is super sweet, and lightly cloying. Some pear hints are present, but they seem awfully fake. Light underlying apple, too. This is really not that pleasant to smell. Transparent straw-golden body with a quickly dissipating white head. This starts with a little bit of an apple cider flavor. Restrained sweetness present, which is surprising. Not too dry or tart in the middle. Kinda bland. Perhaps mild pear flavors are detected late. Meh.

Not overly sweet for a perry, great quaffing cider perfect on a hot day. Dry crisp finish-one of the best pear ciders I’ve had.

bottle. Pale straw with minimal head. Sweet with considerable pear flavor. Perhaps a little too sweet for my taste.

Ace Pear Cider has a light color and fruity aroma, taste is somewhat sweet very similar to an green apple jolly rancher. Not much pear flavor. Overall pretty good for a hard cider (which I'm not a big fan of). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent gold with thin white lacing and tiny CO2 bubbles with soft carbonation. Smells and tastes of pears and apples with an average mouthfeel. A solid perry.

The aroma combines a strong pear scent with a very small hint of yeast and apples, and the appearance of this cider is a clear light yellow with no head. The taste is quite sweet and slightly sour, and the palate combines a sweet yet astringent finish, a light body, a thin and slick texture, and an average carbonation, resulting in a very crisp and tart beverage that is quite enjoyable.
