Cider’s really aren’t something I consume much of. In fact, if I have 5 a year I’d be suprised. Just not a lot of quality ciders to choose from. This though, is definitely a nice cider. A sweet nose with some pear and apple character coming thru clearly. The cider pours out a deathly pale yellow color, a tinge of green, clear with a scant head. Flavor is sweet apples/pears, a hint of carbonation...reminded me of sucking on a Jolly Rancher apple candy in some ways. Sweet up front and dry on the back end. Nice cider.

Aug 19, 2008 Not impressed at all. Poor cider that’s weak, almost like an expired juice box. The pear flavor was lacking.

Jul 28, 2008 (Bottle) Weak, overall. The pear taste is not particularly strong: this cider tastes in many respects like a slightly blander version of green-apple cider, with a hint of pear. Why not try making pears more central to the process, or adding more pear essence? The texture? Carbonation is weak...much like apple juice with a tiny bit of fizz. Overall, disappointing, but still pleasant and drinkable.

Jul 26, 2008 Courtesy of V. It is a good woman who brings you beer, even if she occasionally comes home with a cider. As far as ciders go, I never drink them, so I don’t know if this is good. Tasted OK to me.

Jul 13, 2008 tap. pours like a sprite. smells of light pear and green apple. taste is of light pear. nice carbonation. crisp and refreshing. not overly sweet which was nice.

Jun 30, 2008 On-tap at some bar in Sebastopol. Pours translucent, light, yellow/greenish like tinted water. Tiny, fizzy white head. Smells like overripe, fermented pear, a bit of booze smell as well. Tastes like pears and a bit of booze and slightly rotten. Thin body, subdued carbonation.
