Clear gold, no head / Big fruity nose with a hint of wine / Medium wine-like body with big, young fruit, soft carbonation, and very good, complex finish / Fruit-forward flavors of apple, pear, and tropical fruit with a refined, wine-like finish. A big fruit cider as compared to Europeans, but very successful.

Jun 30, 2008 On-tap at some bar in Sebastopol. Pours translucent, light, yellow/greenish like tinted water. Tiny, fizzy white head. Smells like overripe, fermented pear, a bit of booze smell as well. Tastes like pears and a bit of booze and slightly rotten. Thin body, subdued carbonation.

Jun 26, 2008 Appearance: Pours a damn near translucent body with just a hint of yellow to it. A few stray bubbles, but no real head.
Smell: Aroma of tired, sad pears and a hint of vanilla. Hm.
Taste: Gack! Sweet, sickly so, with tastes of vanilla and pear juice. Seems like there’s an excessive amount of sulfites in here. Sweet in the middle, sweet in the finish, it’ll leave you cringing after each sip.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Very little carbonation.
Drinkability: Almost painfully sweet and with very little pear flavor to offer up. Avoid.

Jun 8, 2008 2008 Bottle from Falcon Tavern - Aroma of sweet fruit, flavour is sour banana on the front end, finishes bitter pear, tons of carbonation....not sweet, decent balance...don’t but this if you want a fruit beer, buy if you like ciders, pretty good representation...

Jun 7, 2008 A nice cider that I enjoy when I’m really thursty. Typical cider base, with a light pear accent. Nothing outstanding, still solid.

May 26, 2008 Really quite disgusting. Pours out a pale piss color, with a head kinda like the kind you get when you pee in a cup for a drug test. Tasted like overly ripe alcoholic pears. Please, don’t ever buy this. We have to stop this cycle of madness. Nobody should drink ciders. Nobody.
