COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ace Pear is made from a base of 100% pure, local apple juice. Pear essence is added to give the cider its distinctive pear taste; a taste so fresh and natural it is already proving as popular as its more traditional apple counterpart.

Draft. Sparkling, almost clear pour. Candy sweet, apples, pears and sugar. Absolutely no complexity, just sweet candy goodness, which I was apparently craving when I rated this because it really hit the spot.

Very nice. The aroma is full of fruity notes pear and apple. The cider is a pale yellow with some greenish notes. Only a little white fizz is present. The taste is pear. The mouthfeel is crisp and tart, very refreshing.

Clear yellow with a white head. The flavor and aroma is a mix of apples and pears, with some sugar added.

Casey’s draft at Thomas Avenue Beverage Co. Rather still, clear, gold color. Nice flavor that reminds me of a sour apple Jolly Rancher with a hint of pear. Fine.

Bottle - snifter
Appearance - Bubbly yellow, chapagne
Aromas - Hints of pear, abundant apples, sour
Taste - Crisp apple, hints of pear, tart, dry

Notes of pears were apparent here, but nowhere near the tart of apples. Undertones were dry and subtle; apples, lemon grass and grapes were light and fruity. Pretty darn good.

The Ace pear cider pours as pale yellow beverage with little head. The aroma is faint, but I can still notice both apple and pear. As I taste, the cider is somewhat sour, with a little sweetness. The palate is strong, not too smooth but not bitter either. A pleasant drink, but it doesn’t stand out very much.

Enjoyed on tap at the Boiler Room in Chicago, IL while eating dinner with some friends. App very clear pale yellow with very thin white head. Aroma pear, vanilla, cinnamon, very sweet but tasty. Taste is also sweet but has a definite crispness to it, pear and vanilla presence, I’m really liking this stuff.
