Bottle 33cl. A cloudy yellow beer with huge head that remains properly. Smell is hopy, yeast like and fruity. Aroma is malty, spicy hops, fruit yeast presence. Body is medium to hight, finish is bitter with agrum notes and a bit metallic, good caramel malt aftertaste.

Bottle from Kenny Road Market, poured into trappist glass. Pours a hazy gold with foamy white head. Aromas are spicy and heavy on the yeast. Flavor was disappointing, possibly due to a bad bottle. Had an unpleasant metallic note that ruined the otherwise nice spice and citrus flavor. Will retry.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 taphandle (987) - Texas, USA - JUL 22, 2010
Clear yellow, very fluffy head. Aroma is spice and yeast and the flavor reminds me more of a brown ale with some malt, spice, and citrus all going on at once. The finish is spicy and citrusy with a belgian yeast hit to it
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 rampmaster (643) - Alden, New York, USA - JUL 21, 2010
Presentation: It was poured from a brown 1.2oz bottle into a tulip glass. The labels information includes its abv (8%) but there is no freshness date.
Appearance: It has a hazy yellow/orange colored body with lots of carbonation rising up to the head. The just off white head is very tall and thick like a meringue. It is very slow fading and leaves some nice lacing on the glass.
Smell: The aroma has an earthy and bready yeast like character with a touch of funk (horse blanket) and spicy hops.
Taste/Palate: The flavor has the same funky bready yeast character from the aroma but with hints of fruity apple and pear notes. On the palate it has a smooth creamy texture with mild carbonation and the finish has a touch of spicy hop flavor and light bitterness for some balance.
Notes: Yep this is your standard Belgian Style Blonde/Tripel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Savvy1982 (1319) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 9, 2010
Bottle. Pours mildly hazy yellow, medium bubbly white head, spotty lacing. Strong carbonation. Head is highly persistent. Nose is spicy, dry, mildly phenolic in a pleasant way, leather, chalk, lemons, white pepper, spice. Flavors are creamy sherbet lemons, chalk, white pepper, clean & pleasant. Finish is lemon, pea pods, chalk. Very nice, but pale Belgian Strong Ales aren’t really my thing, nor are most tripels.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 30, 2010
Purchased in a 330ml bottle at Pub Italia in Ottawa, Ontario. Poured a cloudy beige-gold colour with a white head that dissipated fast enough, but leaving a creamy coat over the brew. The lacing is decent. Mild nose with some fruit, like pears. Light, but yet full-bodied. The fruit is present in the taste too, with the addition of green apples and hints of nuts. Overall, a pretty light-feeling Trappist ale that is quite refreshing.
