UPDATED: OCT 29, 2009 magnificent head, really HUGE! fluffy almost Duvel like. Very orangey aroma, some citrus hints, floral, outhouse, farm and something that reminds me of a nice spring day. Fantastic when it hits the tongue, very fruity with a perfect amount of bitterness to match it.

Aroma is yeast (barnyard, leather) strong, somewhat hoppy.
Poured cloudy yellow, few medium particulate. Small lasting head, lacing, and effervescence.
Starts dry and earthy, malty, creamy mouthfeel.
Finishes alcohol warming, somewhat bitter, astringent. Lasting aftertaste.
The citrus is there but mixed with many flavors. The aroma is markedly different from the taste. Taste hits the back of my throat, unusual.
Reinforces my liking for blonde ales and triples!

This blonde ale pours with almost no head, and elicits a very pleasant fruity aroma. The spicy flavor intensifies as the beer warms. This ale is a fine example of the Trappist style, and is sort of a cross between Westmalle Tripel and Orval.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. These monks are really getting the hang of it, now. Cloudy yellow with persistant creamy head. Peppery orangey hop aroma, with something funky from the yeast which I wasn’t expecting. Good soft mouthfeel with a grapefruity hoppy finish. Nice one.

Ausgeprägt fruchtiger und angenehmer Geruch. Vorab: die 8% schmeckt man an keiner Stelle heraus. Die erwähnte Fruchtigkeit nimmt auch im Geschmack den größten Teil ein und erfreut mit einem leichten Marzipanaroma den Gaumen. Im Nachgeschmack kommen auch leichte malzige Aromen dazu, die allerdings keine allzu große Rolle spielen. Das Bier ist von vorne bis hinten harmonisch und sehr gelungen.

Bottle: Pour beautiful gold color, just a little haze. Huge white head that lasts and lasts and lasts. Aromas of malt and hops. Flavors of malt, bread, and just a hint of hops, maybe a little sourness at the end. Fantastic beer.

0.33 l bottle. Pours murky yellow/orange body with big head. Aroma of banana, sweetish with some hints of coriander. Flavor is about perfect, full and well balanced between bitterness, sweetness and sourness. Moderate carbonation. Finish is very long pleasant a bit bitter which ends with sweet for a long time. Excellent beer, actually a nice surprise. Yeah!

330 ml bottle in Germany Pours a cloudy orange with a thick long lasting beige head. Lots of carbonation in this one. There is a lot of spice in the aroma and yeast in the taste, I believe there is also some fruit in there but I would not hazard a guess at what it is. Palate is very smooth for this type of beer. Very well done!

Colore biondo chiaro abbastanza velato, con schiuma abbondante,persistente e cremosa.Aroma di luppolo, pepe nero, alcoolico ma non troppo.In bocca è fruttata di mela matura,lievito e spezie, discreto amaro,buon corposità.Ottima.

This beer pours a light blond color with a small white head. it has smells of lemon and spices. it has a wonderful light lemon and spice flavor! This beer has almost no presence of alcohol! This is a great beer to drink on a warm sunny summer afternoon or for that matter any time of year. This wil be a beer I will absolutely drink again! what a flavorful beer! Cheers!
