330ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark brown with a large frothy head. Aroma is nutty malt, yeast and candy sugar. Sweetish start. Nutty malt finish with some raisin.

Hazy anber with a massive off-white head. Yeast, sweet malts, orange, bubblegum in the complex aroma. Almost a weissen-bock feeling to the aroma, very nice. Rich taste with yeast, caramel, perfume with tight carbonation.

Smak: Belgisk tvålighet som börjar bli tröttsamt, trevliga malttoner annars händer det inte mycket mer.

A - little hazy amber with very good and exceptional head
S - my god, there is so much going on here - chocolate, raisins, banana, citruses, maple syrup, honey
T - wood, chocolate, banana, raisins, alcohol, malt with nice bitter and fruity end with warming effect
M - medium carbonation with medium body
D - nicely done, drinkable and enjoyable, however kind of strong, so be carefull

Aroma: Yeast, sugar, earthy, spices, alcohol, herbs, bread, dark fruit, jam.
Appearance: ruby colour, big beige head, leaves lacing.
Flavour: Sweet, alcohol, yeast, earthy, has some bitterness, not very many dimensions though.
Mouthfeel: Lively
Total: Good beer, but for being trappist it is not that special.

Huge fluffy foam that lasts a long time.
Litle clowdy and mych yeast in the bottle.
Typical belgian aroma with sweet caramell maltiness.
Sweet malty taste with some warming alcohole. Big body.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Medium cream head and hazy, brown appearance with a reddish hue. Some lacing. Smells of prunes, plums, brown sugar, belgian yeast esters (banana etc) and some alcohol. Very nice, balanced aroma. Taste is a little sweet with a rather high bitterness for the style. Lots of notes of molasses and malt taste in general. A bit too light bodied for the style. Dry mouthfeel with some alcohol. This is a good example of the style and really well tasting.

Pours brown with a big off-white head that leaves lots of lacings as it settles. Dried fruits, brown sugar and a whiff of alcohol in the aroma. Despite the somewhat sugary aroma, the beer is rather dry. Rather long aftertaste of dried fruits. Light bitterness. Lively carbonation but still a quite smooth mouthfeel.
