3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Shared 11.2 oz. bottle. Pours dark brown and hazy with a large beige head. Aroma is caramel, dark fruit, malt, and spice. Taste is similar, with the malt headlining. Some Belgian yeast present, but it’s subtle. Finish is malty, fruity, and warming.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma: lots of malt with some apple juice undertones; Appearance: very dark amber, hazy, with fluffy white head that dissipates slowly; Taste: extreme sweetness up front that is tempered by some hoppy and caramel notes at the end; Palate: medium-heavy body with sweet finish; Overall: too sweet for me, but drinkable. Would not buy again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the bottle poured into trappist glass, pours dark brown with thick beige head. Nose is more of the unspectacular type, some roasted malts some yeast. Taste is yeasty, alcoholic, some dryed fruits. Finish is belgian yeast and alcoholic notes. Decent... but in my opinion one of the weaker trappist beers.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle. Cola coloured, with a fine, off-white head. Aroma of predominantly red berries. Unfortunate lack of taste, with only vague hoppy notes and a slight bitterness; what little taste there is swiftly dies.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33. Belle couleur brun/orange. Nez subtil : caramel, prune ... Bouche agréable où l’alcool est bien caché et l’amertume peu présente. Pas la meilleure mais bonne trappiste à mon goût !

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Koht in Tallinn. BB 21.05.2016. Pours reddish brown with a big soapy light beige head, inconsistent retention and strong lace. Aroma: intense estery fruits, toasty malts, marmalade and figs-prunes, hint of anise, soft caramel candies. Tastes sweet, with flavours of caramel, figs and prunes, or at least something along those lines. Very soft on the palate with almost no carbonation, dryish (grainy? metallic even?) slightly bitter finish. Again, it might be too old already, will try and get me a more fresh bottle in the furure.
