Assertive but classy hoppiness mingles well with a dark, rich maltiness. Gets noticeably sweeter as the glass warms. Rich head lasts throughout. Fruity, malty and warming alcohol accentuate this beer; although it is not terribly complex.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle 33cl. Bottled 3 April 2009. Pours a thick, light brown head. Nice dark ruby and brown color. Earthy, dusty aroma, plum, wood, sweet yeast and more fruits. Even better taste, more plum, wood, earth, dust and dark fruits, but also malt and yeast, very complex. Oily, even sticky texture and a full body. Alcohol is not very well hidden, feels like more than 8% ABV. But still very good.
