Dried fruits, high carbonation yet in fine bubbles. Not to dense. Easy going, yet full flavour. Nice combination with veal and light beef.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear light brown with medium beige head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, bready, cake, cherry, raisins, a bit alcoholic. Heavy yeasty flavor, a bit winy, balanced, light bitterness, raisins, a bit woody, noted of honey. Creamy, a bit watery, sticky. Full body. Sweet aftertaste.

(bottle - 330 ml) Copper pour with a creamy head. Dark fruit and malt aroma. Lots of raisins and hints of wine and plum. Flavor is dark and wine-like with loads of raisins and fruit at the finish.

Bottle 0.33L. Slightly cloudy, dark amber body with huge, creamy, tan head, fully lasting with very nice lacing. Moderate malty (caramel) aroma with notes of red fruits, sugar and honey. Moderate sweet flavour with a light bitter character. Medium-to-full body with oily-to-creamy texture; soft-to-average carbonation.

Huge sweet candy fruit aroma, beautiful brown with a ruby red glow, pure white head. Brown sugar, ripe fruit, brandy, warming alcohol but no harshness. Very full bodied, a dessert beer. Excellent and unique, long aftertaste.

Niet de beste donkere trappist in het aanbod, maar een donker bier dat zelfs de niet-liefhebbers gaan kunnen smaken
