Bottle shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike! The beer is hazy and yellow, with a finger of white head that leaves some good lacing behind. The aroma brings some yeast, citrus, spice, malt, and subtle alcohol. Nice flavor, well balanced. Lots of citrus, slightly sweet. Yeast and spices add depth and complexity. A delicious beer. So glad to try this rare Trappist ale. Recommended. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 10-02-2011

Head: almost none , white
Colour: gold/clear
Smell: malts, sweet, little yeasty, bit of hops
Taste: tipical sweet malty flavour of a original Abbey Tripel , but this one packs a bit more punch on the alcohol flavour , and is also a bit sweeter...
