Bottle @ home. Clear golden yellow coour with a fairly large white head. Smells malts, some iron, nothing crazy. Tastes malts, slightly weird but I’m not sure what it is and it’s not even that unpleasant. Medium body, nice carbo.

Blond session ale with loose, irregular, sticky, somewhat rocky, off-white head and light peach blond colour, cloudy. Strong sweet, ethereal spiciness reminiscent of aniseed, cloves and coriander, pear, melon, pineapple, soap, flowers, cheese, lemon; fruity and spicy onset, dry hoppy finish, a bit unusual and not too well-balanced, the different taste components seem to merge into each other in a somewhat uncontrolled way. Still interesting, though.

Hazy golden color, nice stable and regular white foam. Aroma is quite hidden, some notes of Belgian yeast, dust and bread. Taste is bitter and a bit salty, with some banana notes. Medium body, average carbonation, dry and astringent finish. A decent blond beer.

24/VI/14 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: n/a (2014-665)

Clear dark blond to beige beer, big creamy white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing. Aroma: pretty spicy, candi sugar, coriander, bit dusty, orange peel, floral notes, banana and yeast. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: grains, sweet malts, citrus, hay, bit spicy, coriander, pretty bitter, floral. Aftertaste: chocolate bitterness, some banana, alcohol, yeast, spicy, dry, bit grassy, alcohol burn, which is weird for this beer, almonds and marzipan on warming up.

330 ml bottle at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 6.2% Pours a bright golden yellow beer, with a very tall white head, thick, soapy, with very good retention. Nice formed rings of lacing around the glas. Aroma of malts, sugar, grass. Taste of sweet malts, bread, grass. Changes on the aftertaste to a mild bitterness with ikay duration. Medium thin body, okay carbonation. Little dryness on the palate. Overall nothing too exciting, kind of boring.
