sayravai (4673) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 1, 2007
(Bottled) Clear golden-amber (very hazy golden with yeast) color with a medium, foamy and firm, lacy head. Strongly pale-malty, slightly honeyish, pine-soapy aroma with fruit, yeast, coriander, rosemary, and some acidity. Acidic-honey-malty flavor with some coriandery spiciness, sweetish raspberry, and hints of lemon. Light to medium-bodied, neutral palate with balanced carbonation. A quite pleasant and easily drinkable, yet not the most memorable blonde. A bit girlish, I’d say... :)

Maria (10176) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2007
Golden with a nice and lasting head - and the sediments are like a blizzard in the bottle. The aroma has notes of yeast and citrus. The flavour has a lot (too much) notes of bread, yeast, fruit and a citrussy finish. It’s nice, but I would have liked it to be in better balance and with a fuller body.

yngwie (13845) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 28, 2006
Bottled. Pours hazy and golden, with a good deal of carbonation, floaties and a nice off-white head. Complex aroma with apples, citrus, yeast-notes and hints of orange and raspberry. The flavor is yeasty and fruity, with hops, sweetness and some sour notes. Full body and a finish with a nice bitterness. The bottle was dated best before 20061031, and the lagering sure didn’t hurt it. (061111)

Bottle at Den Afgrond, Heist-op-den-Berg. Hazy deep golden colour with an intensely white lacing head. Great flowery hop nose with caramel in the background. Yeasty. Flavours are on the sweeter side, but still harmonious. Drier towards the finish. Spicy yeastiness. Quite fizzy. A good Belgian blond.

Papsoe (25084) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 2, 2006
(Bottle 33 cl) Pours an almost clear pilsener golden with a white head leaving some laces. Aroma of fruit and yeast. Medium body, sweetish malty with distinct fruity notes plus some yeast and diacetyl. Ends rather dry. Quite pleasant drinking. 290806

Bottle. Hazy golden coloured with a small white head. Fruity nose with notes of hops, spices and yeast. Fruity, floral and hoppy flavour, with a fresh dry aftertaste.

diabel (1607) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - AUG 16, 2006
Bottle Hazy, orange body. Off-white frothy head, which diminishes instantly. Sweet aroma of vanilla, hops, orange, ... Bitter to sweet flavour. Very unbalanced. This beer just can’t convince me to appreciate it.

Sten (651) - Westerlo, BELGIUM - JAN 29, 2006
A hazy orange colour with a white head. A disgusting sweet aroma. The taste is a bit sweet, acidic and some herbs are noticeable (maybe coriander). (Bottle 33cl)

bask (305) - Leuven, BELGIUM - DEC 18, 2005
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2006 Bottle, ABSdrinks. Yellow amber colour, medium head with lots of bubbles. Big particles in the beer, nearly no acid. Funky, citric, fruits, floral: the typical strange yeasty aroma of the Serafijn beers is present too. Spicy and citric taste, leaves. Yeasty and bitterish finish, but a little bit too weak.
