(750ml bottle) Murky amber body topped by medium beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, Curacao, rose perfume, alcohol, some spice. Taste is moderately sweet, alcohol (boozy), orange, light fig. Medium-full body, light effervescence.

Pours a transparent deep copper amber with a well-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet doughy caramely Belgian malt has some earthy floral hop notes. Body starts fairly full and bready malty with some nice caramel sweetness and hay notes and earthy bittering hops. Finishes slightly drier and biscuity. A nice Belgian strong ale.

Bottle: Cloudy amber, tons of carbonation, thick self-restorative head. Nose of bright carbonation, apple and alcohol, green pumpkin, light caramel, super fumey with a fig and raisin note. Meaty bready flavor with a strong alcohol kick. Light molasses in the finish. Decent, albeit hot and fizzy.

750ml bottle: This has a clear amber body with a foamy off-white head. Doesn’t last too very long. It has an aroma of sweet apples and pears, sugary light malts, and soapy yeast. Medium-to-light-bodied, its fruitiness carries the flavor along with some supportive malt, a soapy bitterness balancing it out. Right at the finish you can get a feel of its sturdy alcohol content. Excepty for that, this seems like a pleasant, sessionable ale.

Lightly hazed bronze to copper colored brew. Tall ecru head. Light sweet aromas with fermenting fruit, bananas and pears, roses and a touch of orange zest. Not nearly as sweet as the scent suggest. Some caramel and exotic fruits mamboing about, but not the sticky stuff that the nose hints at. Alcohol is rather present. Let this set on the tongue and the nasal passages are filled with the alcohol vapors and a touch of nail polish remover. Not enough depth for all the alcohol. The stomach is starting to burn. I was really hoping for a little better showing in this one. Just one of those nights.
