An epic brew from Achilles, a red-brown rich and malty masterpiece with just a dash of hoppy bitterness for balance.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a huge, foamy off-white head with good retention. Hazy orange body. Good lace. Hazy dark bronze orange with a huge light khaki head. The aroma is medicinal with some oranges and apples. There is also a pleasant green fresh cut wood scent. It’s like you entered an orchard and cut some branches while eating part of the harvest. The taste is like light brown sugar mixed with some iced tea. There is also some light mango fruit in the finish. Hints of dry wood throughout. Highly carbonated, this is a decent brew.

Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Pours a clear copper color with a good yellow/white head. Sweet aromas of candied lighter stone fruits. Medium body with coarse carbonation. The flavor is not all that sweet, seems slightly bitter, and lightly spicy. A very tasty ale.
