An epic brew from Achilles, a red-brown rich and malty masterpiece with just a dash of hoppy bitterness for balance.

LIght in color and pretty in the glass. There is a lot of brut champagne on this beer. Plenty of delicate fruit on the nose, but terribly light scent. On the tongue, bright alcohol, slick palate and drying finish. Sour fruits and light caramel malt.

Bottle: Poured a murky orange brown with a medium off white head. Aroma is fruit with a sweetness to it. Taste is a sweet fruit with malts, it also had a slight bitter bite to the finish that made it lively to the tongue.

Bottle. Poured hazy, orange amber with just a film of foam. Spicy and fruity aroma: banana, coriander, orange. Good bitterness, orange flavours prevail, dryish finish. Complex fruit. Medium carbonation, quite full-bodied. Likeable.

The aroma was fruity with a strong tropical fruit nature of namely pineapple. A Belgian yeast spice accompanied the fruity character along with a bit of pepper. The aroma also carried a malt sweetness. The beer poured into the chalice clear golden but laden with particulates. The head was low and white and short lived. The flavor was lightly sweet with a strong fruity presence of tropical fruits, once again pineapple and perhaps some mango. The flavor also had a nice Belgian yeast spice with some pepper. The finish was ultimately dry with lasting light spice into the aftertaste. The body was medium-full with a moderate level of carbonation and a creamy texture on the palate. A nice beer, nothing too exciting, but a pleasant brew. 750 ml bottle.

In the bottle. Thanks to mdi for the beer! Pours a hazy yellow gold with a gargantuan white head that is hardly contained within the glass. Big cotton candy aroma! Straw-like flavors. Quite sweet- in fact, it is a honey sweetness that protrudes. I get strawberries out of this for sure. Oh, so very good.
