An epic brew from Achilles, a red-brown rich and malty masterpiece with just a dash of hoppy bitterness for balance.

From bottle into tulip. Light Amber with a crisp white head and slight lacing. Cranberry aroma with a little tart cherry. Bitter cherry with slight orange, and malt. Fairly oily on the tongue but has enough carbonation to make it work. Overall a decent beer,

Heldere koper kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt zoetig, stroop, suiker. Smaakt zoetig, stroop. Zoete meuk.

Diep donker caramel warm aroma.

Slightly hazy deep copper with a lush Rocky off white head. Creamy yet musty Belgian strong ale aromas with some bright Amber malts and toast, maybe a dash of fruitiness as well. Smooth and mellow Belgian amber malt flavor, a dash of booze, Belgian fruity esters, light toast, amber grains and gentle Belgian estery booze on the finish. Semidry and quite tasty.

Bottle. Amber with tiny white head. Smell is highly caramel and yeasty, booze quite noticable, some fruit and pear. Taste is semi-sweet to sweet. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, fisnish is semi-sweet.

Troebel donkergeel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is zoet en fruitig, vanille, perzik en appels. Erg goed bier, smaak blijft redelijk lang hangen.

Piana zbudowana z drobnych p?cherzyków, be?owa. Niestety do?? szybko opada, redukuj?c si? do niewielkiego pier?cienia. Wysycenie ?rednie w kierunku do wysokiego.

18/IV/15 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: 19/III/15 (2015-450)

Gusher alert!
Clear red to orange beer, big creamy to fizzy off-white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: banana overload, very sweet and sugary, yeast, some orange peel, more banana. MF: way too much carbonation, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, lots of overripe banana, some citrus, yeast. Aftertaste: little spicy, soft bitterness, cloves, bit of orange peel, yeast.
