A huge gusher at first, settled on a murky darker peachy colour with a medium sized thick head. Lemony, slightly dusty sticky sweet maltiness, some light alcohol. Jam-like sweet fruity malty taste, silky smooth body, some alcohol but no burn. No bitterness, pleasant. Fine, drinkable but nothing too special I guess.

13/02/2012 Bir&Fud Bottega (330ml bottle). Ambrata carica, lievemente torbida, schiuma biancastra con venature giallognole, abbastanza abbondante e persistente. Aroma intenso di frutti rossi, caramello, zucchero di canna, lieviti, spezie e alcol. In bocca è dolce, leggermente stucchevole fin da subito, non perfettamente bilanciata e con un finale non proprio pulito. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Si lascia bere, ma non è niente di eccezionale.

draft at Blue Monk, Buffalo. orange copper pour. sweet, caramel & toffee maltiness in both aroma and flavor. Pretty one domensional, little complexity. all about the malts here. OK

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy herbal aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice but a little rustic.

Bottled. Pours clear amber with a little white head. Nose of caramel, yeats and fruit. Sweet flavor with fruit, caramel and alcohol notes. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and lively carbonation.

Draft at Max’s. Hazy golden color, white edge head. Aroma of citrus and straw. Taste is sweet and sour pink grapefruit and sourdough bread.

Tap. Pours clear orange with a small, fizzy white head , short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is fruity esters, biscuit and straw malt with earthy notes. Flavor is malt dominant with light alcohol, fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

Tap. Pours clear amber with thin white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is yeast, caramel malt, fruit (mostly pears), and light floral hops. Flavor is heavy malt, faint hops, and average esters; dry, fruity finish. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth.

Fizzy amber pour. Quickly becomes a still beverage. No head, no lacing, no bubbles. Looks like a glass of iced tea. A roasty malty aroma with a tinge of a sourness. Bitter, malty, a bit carbonic, and dry. Boozy after a few sips, but well hidden.
