Commercial Description:
An epic brew from Achilles, a red-brown rich and malty masterpiece with just a dash of hoppy bitterness for balance.

Yellow with floating particles. Big and bubbly white head. Grapefruit, wheat and yeast in the aroma. Dry and yeasty with a lemon juice-like acidity. Which is not the same as pleasant tartness.

Hazy dark bronze orange with a huge light khaki head. The aroma is medicinal with some oranges and apples. There is also a pleasant green fresh cut wood scent. It’s like you entered an orchard and cut some branches while eating part of the harvest. The taste is like light brown sugar mixed with some iced tea. There is also some light mango fruit in the finish. Hints of dry wood throughout. Highly carbonated, this is a decent brew.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruits, and so is the flavor, leading to a slightly spicy finish. The body is a bit thin.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 750 ml bottle. Pours a slightlly hazy medium orange with a sticky, puffy white head. Sweet aroma with some hints of white grapes, citrus, and a touch of alcohol. Hearty flavor with some nutty accents, a touch of cherries, some root beer, raisins, dates, caramel l and toffee. Mouthfeel is pleasant, good creaminess. Solid Belgian.

Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Pours a clear copper color with a good yellow/white head. Sweet aromas of candied lighter stone fruits. Medium body with coarse carbonation. The flavor is not all that sweet, seems slightly bitter, and lightly spicy. A very tasty ale.
