Bottle. Light brown beer with a relatively strong head. The aroma is lightly banana, very fruity and spiced with a sweet finish. The flavour is quite bitter at the finish, the bulk of the beer is banana and fruit. Overall a nice beer.

Hazy amber. Sweet spicy aroma with notes of yeast and hops. Sweet yeasty flavor with corriander that ends mildly bitter. Refreshing.

Bottled@Kerstbierfest, Essen. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is malts, grass, hops and some mild spices. Flavour is spices, caramel malts, some fruits, yeast and earth. Pleasantly balanced, but not sure where the Christmassy notes are.

This Belgian Ale pours a murky amber brown color from a 330cl bottle. Large sized white foamy head, with decent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is fruity and sweet with some spices. A medium bodied Belgian ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. Mostly melon and apricot flavors with strong hints of pepper and cinnamon. The hops are earthy and floral. Spicy and kind of sharp tasting. Nice blend of spices and malts. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a touch of alcohol.

Bottle from Belgian X-mas sampler at Capone’s. Turbid orangy pour with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma is orange marmalade, big Bell pepper, citrus fruit, canteloupe, honey, hops. Tastes caramel malty, hoppy, with citrus, canteloupe, honey, and apricotty notes and some backup x-mas spicy notes.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2008 Bottle, 33 cl. @ Bab festival. Hazy amber color; with medium white head. Aroma malts and sweet, spices. Medium body. Taste is very well. It’s like it have more alcohol (and yes the brewer says it’s right this beer have really 7,9 %), little sweetness, spicy, hopbitter. Like it !

Exploding baige head and a hazy orange look. Probably the most creamy and peachy aroma i’ve experienced, but its relativly brief, and turns into some rather uninteresting dusty hob notes. Tickling bubbly texture and a medium body, with nice subdued warming alchohol, mild sweetness and a finish of some peppery spices. Nice desert beer.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 Bottle from Uto. The most brilliant amber I’ve ever seen with a massive fluffy off white head that leaves a beautiful lace. Uber spicy nose with a honey strength and notes of popcorn, cinnamon and candied apple. Throw in a bit of cookie for good measure. It smells like some glorious dessert. Taste falls incredibly flat in comparison - watery fruit with spice and nuts. What a let down!

Bottle: Poured a hazy brown orange amber with bubbly cream head. Fruit and spice aroma. Nice sweet malt flavor with a slight acidic finish.
