3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Adenila (1459) - - AUG 27, 2007
Exploding baige head and a hazy orange look. Probably the most creamy and peachy aroma i’ve experienced, but its relativly brief, and turns into some rather uninteresting dusty hob notes. Tickling bubbly texture and a medium body, with nice subdued warming alchohol, mild sweetness and a finish of some peppery spices. Nice desert beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Leighton (4087) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2011
Bottle at home, from Utobeer. A serious gusher, this one. Pours cloudy gold with a light, white head. Lots of alcohol on the nose with notes of caramel and candi sugar. Flavor is a bit heavy handed, lots of sugar, cereal and grainy malts, bit of apple and caramel. Full bodied with medium carbonation. Finishes boozy with strong notes of rubbing alcohol, more sugar and modest yeast. Not super enjoyable, but perhaps I just wasn’t in the mood for this kind of experience. Would work well as a disinfectant, no matter the mood.

Botlte, 33 cl @ Brugs Beertje. Amber beer with nice white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, light hoppy. Taste is also fruity, with a malty background and a light bitter, hoppy finish. Not exactly a typical Christmas Ale, that’s already positive, but the beer doesn’t surprise anymore towards the end. Not bad, but I alreayd drunk better ones.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Parket (544) - Bruges, BELGIUM - DEC 30, 2010
bottle @ Brugsch Beertje, Bruges, Amber/Yellow coloured with nice foamy white head. Smell: fruity. Taste: easy drinking with some sweetness, fruity, yeasty and a snif of coriander. Not a spectacular but very decent beer. I’m surprised that this is called a ’Xmas ale’ because I’d prefer to drink it on a hot summer day. It also surprises me that the ratings are low for that ale...
