DocLock (4083), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 26, 2005 Hazy deep copper pour with medium off-white head. Aroma of corn flakes, malt, some chocolate and nuts. Tastes malty, with some hops and toffee flavors. The palate is light and non-complex, and the flavor is lacking somewhat. Still, not bad for a brown ale.
Snojerk321 (943), San Diego, California, USA Jul 8, 2008 12oz bottle from BevMo, had this in my fridge for a while. Amber color with a slight off white head. The taste is sweet with a dry malty body. Nice light hoppy palate. yngwie (3394), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 7, 2008 Bottle at Cockney Pub, Århus. A slightly hazy brown beer with a small, beige head. Lovely chocolate and roasted aroma with some fruityness to give it some balance. Chocolate start on the flavor, with some roasted malt showing up quickly, and getting company of a nice balancing fruityness with some citrus. Not much bitterness. Smooth, medium mouthfeel, quite low on co2. Really pleasant, smooth and easy to drink. (080517) Jukkabro (2349), Tampere, Finland May 12, 2008 Dark amber colored with cloudy appearance.
