COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Bottled. Slightly hazy amber beer, thin lacy head. Hoppy nose has grapefruit and ripe peach, light herbal note and pale caramel. Bittersweet flavor. Slightly sugary caramel feel, bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture. Somehow flat.

Pours a cloudy, golden yellow, with mid-sized head. Strong floral hop aroma. Flavor is very hoppy, with the usual citrus notes and a rather sweet undertone and nice, bitter finish.

From bottle to tulip. Fluffy head and kind of sweet aroma. A lot of carbonation and bitter hoppy. Not bad.

12 oz bottle. Deep hazy gold color in a shaker. Well carbonated producing some retention. Aroma is light malt, heavy hops; mostly floral and pine. Flavor is also pine and floral hops with a light bread malt backbone. No flaws here. Decent balance. OK example of a West Coast IPA. However, nothing you need to rush and find. "Acme" is real average.
