DeadGirl (192), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Nov 7, 2009 Pours clear, light golden from the 12oz. bottle into a pint glass: Nose is ripened fruit rather than anything earthy and grassy. Taste is similar- a little mild on hops and too malty for what I usually look for in an IPA. Drinkability: Nondescript, unmemorable. Rebuy: Prolly not. #191 on 07112009, DG. espenra (277), Oslo, Norway Nov 7, 2009 35.5cl bottle at Patricks. No batch info or best before date. It poured a golden orange colour with a medium big white foamy head that vanished quickly in the glass. The aroma is suprising. notes of malts and yeast. Some hops as well, but it is subtle. The flavour is a tad bitter and oxidized. Notes of hops, yeast, malts. It has a short aftertaste. Overall it is a very drinkable beer, but fans of hoppy and agressive IPAs might find it boring. arminjewell (100), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Nov 5, 2009 Light orange/yellow color with white head, too much malt overtakes the slight amount of hops. Very average IPA Chipper (181), Red Lion, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 26, 2009 Hazy orange pour with a small off-white head. A little sweet with the hoppy aroma. Flavor is smooth and some hops and fruit. Lower effervescence makes it seem a little thick and there is a touch of malty sweetness at the end. Decent beer. Oddefellowe (28), Tampa, Florida, USA Oct 16, 2009 Light white head gently resting atop the a golden brown body with hops overriding the malts. Few accents stood out. Fairly straightforward IPA. VTHopHead (895), Barre, Vermont, USA Oct 11, 2009 Taster at Great Lost Bear - Poured a bright amber in color with a small white head. Aroma was all citrus hops. Flavor was also all citrus hops... not much for malts to balance. Bitter finish. OK, but not anything special. jeremytoni (1072), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Oct 10, 2009 From a botle poured amber with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lingering finish. skoisirius (570), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 7, 2009 Run of the mill IPA brewed with a nice hop flavor. Great summer beer. Still love the concept of the beers.
