COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle thanks to weihenweizen. Pours a hazy copper with a bubbly white head of foam. Aroma is sweet and somewhat piny. Very slight malt backbone. Sweet and piny again in the taste. Medium mouthfeel.

Bottled. Pours darker orange in color with a foamy whitish head. Sweet maltyness with some floral and perfumy notes in aroma. Floral and perfumy soapy notes in taste. Perhaps a bit of some herbal notes and even some sweetness that reminds of butterscotch is to be found. Sweetish and slightly bitter finish.

Draught. Light orange amber, hazy. Fruity hoppy nose, with a more orange/tangerine profile. Malts backing, a bit of caramel, some peachyness. Body bitter, but soft. A bit of a dry finish. Ok, flavourful.

Poured a translucent orangey amber colour with a four-finger white foamy head that retained well and laced well. Moderate carbonation. Aroma dominated by fruity hops. Taste of sweet caramel up-front but then dominated by hops bitterness. Light to medium body. Long smooth bitter finish. A decent enough IPA.

Bottle, poured orange with light white head. Notes of heavy malt, caramel, only the slightest traces of citrus or hops in this one. Body was light medium with a weak mouth. Nothing interesting here especially for an ipa. 2.8

Smells decent with a floral aroma. Head starts nice, fizzes out to a coating. Taste is heavy on the malts nice citrus hop flavor throughout. Not overly hoppy for an ipa. Easy to enjoy, not the best I've ever tasted however. Overall decent brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Kind of fruity for an ipa. Not too hoppy. Not sure why this is an ipa. Clear light copper.
