COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a very clear copper colored body with a huge three finger foamy white head, there is no carbonation seen rising. Some spider web lacing is seen around the sides of the glass. The smell had the malts up front, lemon and orange present themselves as the beer warms. The taste had a refreshing light crisp maltiness to it that I like as well as some pine presence comes out in the taste. On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium with some bitter sharpness on the tongue, but a good sharpness. Overall, this is a good beer. I would say this is a mostly drinkable beer that I would definitely seek out again.

Bottle at Big Bite. Aroma of piney grassiness. Taste is similarly hoppy - bitter and grassy but sort of unbalanced. Slight apple taste. Very dry finish. Not as good as I remembered.

Acme California IPA bottle poured into pint glass. Aroma: Smells like grapefruits and I love that smell. Appearance: Golden 2 fingers worth of head that lingers for a few minutes. Tastes like how it smells bitter taste of grapefruits and I like the taste personally. Mouth-feel very hoppy and dry bitter aftertaste but I like it wish it had more body though. I enjoyed this beer good start for the for the first California beer I rated on this site.

On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: The body is a cloudy ruddy amber-rust color. The head is pillowy and very dense, forming craters in the light tan body as it dissipates slowly.
Aroma: The aroma is mild, malty more like a mildly hopped pale ale than an IPA. Tea like herbal qualities with a hint of grapefruit comes through with a balancing maltiness.
Taste: Moderately dry with a lot of floral tones and hints of generic citrus are the big flavors. Some generic malt sweetness is noted, mildly nutty as well. This drinks more like a pale ale than an IPA. Not bad, but not enticing.
Palate: Full-bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This isn’t a bad IPA, but it’s definitely not able to compete with the slew of new top tier ones. I would drink this if given to me, but I wouldn’t buy this.

Aroma de pão doce bem pronunciado, que se mantém no gosto em menor intensidade. Uma IPA light. Amargor no retrogosto. Uma boa cerveja.
