COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.
2012 vintage: 6.9% abv

Lets call this one an "IPA Light" It has IPA characteristics, just not much of them. Drinkable and fair, but nothing I would buy again.

Pretty mundane ipa especially for a west coaster, frequently lingers on shelves.

This is a decent, surprisingly mild IPA. The bitterness isn’t extreme and the flavor is muted citrus with some residual caramel flavors.

12oz bottle into a stemmed boulevard glass, pours a nice copper orange with clarity. Head is full, tight, very foamy and leaves a one inch head with plenty of lacing. Aroma is musty orange, kind of gross and garbage like, rotten oranges maybe, slight metallic qualities mixed with orange and spice. No real otustanding hop presence in the aroma as I was expecting, I guess thats what you get when you buy with hopeful satisfaction, let down. Taste is a let down too, nothing really stands out as an intense ipa flavour here, more like a pale ale with orange and some floral like qualites, but nothing outstanding. Very ripe green melon, pear, apple, crab apple, grapes, and mild, very mild hop presence. This is a pale ale labeled wrong, ok for the pale ale though and at 6.9, where thats coming from, idk, its not that bad, but ipa, not exactly.

12oz in Seattle. Woody orange-brown, creamy head. Sweet ale aroma, decent hops, caramel. Tart citrus hops, mild, creamy malt body. Fairly clean. Tasty enough.

Coe laranja turva. Espuma de boa formação e persistência. Aroma de lúpulo cítrico, caramelo ao fundo, um pouco de torrado. No sabor, caramelo em primeiro plano, médio amargor , sem o sabor cítrico que se espera de uma IPA americana. Regular. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
