COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

12 oz bottle. CLear and golden, nice white head that lasts. Citrus fresh hop aroma, and lots of fruit. Mostly hop flavor, lots of bitterness. Malt is down there somewhere, with a touch of sweetness. Overall, will help with a hop fix, but a rather simple brew.

Nice little IPA. Hard to believe itís a 7.1 A good beer for that change of pace. [Worst review ever.]

A bit of candi sugar, lots of grapefruit and grass in the nose. Flavor is sweet citrusy with a malty backbone. Dry, hoppy finish. Nice creamy body

deep golden color, thick frothy beige head, aroma is mostly citrus hops, flavor is moderately hopped, lightly malted...what a poorly written rating.

Pours cloudy tan with no head. Lighter look than most IPAs. Taste is earthy with average hops. Looks almost like a hefeweizen. Average.

Loved the light fruity aroma of this Ale. Nice and dry also. I did not notice the extra kick associated with 7.1 beers.

Small white head fair retention and lace. Light fruity nose. Clear light blond color. Light body, over carbed. Flowery hop flavors with a light malt backing. Dry, hop stinging finish. Whooof.

Deep amber with a small creamy head. Aroma is fruity hops. Flavour is bitter and lacks complexity. Hard to believe this is brewed by the people at North Coast.

On tap at brewery...decent beer, very bitter grapefruit aftertaste that is a bit robust and long lasting. No balance in flavor, mildly sweet, much stronger sour//bitter. Medium-light body...didnít notice until now the 7.1% alcohol--that was very well masked, although not unexpected with an IPA.

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Had the bottled version a while back and wasnít overly impressed but the tap version was much better than I remembered. Citrus and floral hop aroma. Taste is typical West Coast IPA style, but a bit lighter. 7.1 masked very nicely.
