COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

12 oz. bottle. Poured golden yellow with a medium head that dissapated to a ring and then remained for the whole glass. Lacing all the way down as well. Aromas were a little weak. Hoppy citrus but not much else. Flavor was fine though. Maybe not as hoppy as most IPAís, but definitely had some bitterness. Not as viscus as other IPAís Iíve had either. Maybe it would have made a great APA. Very good nonetheless.

Gold Coloring with Big White Head...Like What You See on a Root Beer Float. Subtle Hop Aroma. Light, Sweet Hops...With Dry Spikey Tingling Around the Mouth. Smooth and Sweet.

Amoma didnít stand out in this one too well. Usually with most IPAís I get that floral, pine or citrus aromas right off the bat. Copper color with small head but flatened out with no lacing. Flavor of the hops didnít really come in till the end of beer. Was alright to drink with dinner.

Gold color with a very foamy head. Musty hop aroma. Woah... tastes like sweet tarts! Thatís bizzare for a supposedly bitter beer. Some bitter malts come in at the end, but that sweet candy flavor really screwed up this beer for me.

Hazy copper pour with hopcit and some spice aroma. Tastes hoppy, with some floral spicyness and citrus. Dry finish with slightly dilute mouthfeel.

poured a cloudy amber with a medium sized off white head. Mild citrus hop aroma, medium bodied with a nice citrus hop flavor balanced nicely with caramel malt. Not near as hoppy as I like my IPAís, but still a pretty solid beer.

All hops -- Northwestern Hops, omnipresent but not harsh. Well, thatís about all there is to the character of this beer. But the hops hide the 7.1% _extremely_ well.

Brewtopia í05. This was ok for an IPA. There was not the over powering hops, but the balance was ok.

04.16.05 Brewtopia í05 Another Iíd have never gotten around to buying if not for the fest. Mild aromas emerge from a clear amber pour. Big tan head with much lacing. Bubblegum, orange, chewy. Nice balance, clean finish, lasting bitterness. A pretty standard west coast IPA.
