3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ OT. Deep, clear amber. No head when it reached me. Aroma is resin, pine, ripe tropical fruit, not very fresh. Taste is slightly bitter up front with more, pungent, bitterness creeping in towards the finish. A touch of malty sweetness as well but overall a bit bland. Body is medium full, somewhat creamy but with a fair bit of carbonation.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Yellow with a white head. Aroma has some grapefruit and orange notes, very fruity. The flavor is not quite as hoppy as the aroma but still contains some grapefruit and tropical fruit. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

On tap at Akkurat. Light haze on this amber - gold beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish with fine minerally carbonation. Light creamy malt, slightly dry. Bitterish tangerine peel, slight floralness. Finishes smooth and dry with mild peel bitterness. Good but somewhat muted for a US IPA.

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice zesty aroma, light amber color. Given the high abv, it is pretty light for flavor. Mix of stone fruit and a light bitter finish but had some moth coating resinous hops.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A - Crystal clear amber, with a rocky off-white head.
S - Woody pine, mineral-like citrus.
T - Bitter pine off the top, coats the tongue, bready pale malt, dried grapefruit pith, finish smooth and dry.
M - Medium smooth body, dry and crisp on the finish.
Good clean malt with a clean bitterness. Nose is a little weak all around, almost muted. Bitter, dry and simple.

Very light IPA. Pours a light orange. I was expecting more citrus in this style but still refreshing. Lacing covers the glass on the way down. Piney but faint/watered down.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Coppery-tan with a great, lasting head that left a nice cap of light tan foam and sticky lace.
Aroma is some mild floral hops, a smidge of maltiness, a touch of fruits, a bit lacking on aroma but not bad.
Taste is more lightly floral hops with a fairly pronounced bitterness, like it had a big early bittering charge of something strong like magnum or warrior, and a lighter late addition of flavor and aroma hops.
Body is slightly watery with a lingering bitterness.
Overall I’d say it’s a bit out of balance, needing more late hops additions, but it’s not bad.
