Ibrew2or3 (1685), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Aug 1, 2006 Clear copper color with off white head. Mild aroma of mostly cascade type hops and some light sweet caramel. Flavor has a nice hope bitterness that hits right away. Sort of the grapefruit, piney, grassy hop character. There is some mild malt sweetness that is being dominated by the hops.
AndyReynolds (54), Wilder, Kentucky, USA Aug 29, 2008 Poured a very nice golden with a thick white head that slowly dissapated. Aroma is kind of weak but sweet yeast and hops stand out. The flavor is strong with wheat or bread, not much hops here at all. It does have a dry finish, but not what I have come to expect and love with an IPA. If this beer wasn’t labeled as an IPA, it would be pretty good. Being it is, I am disappointed in it. redlight (1048), Winter Park, Florida, USA Aug 29, 2008 draft @ redlight redlight. Grassy hops on the nose with hints of weak pine resins. Pours cloudy golden pale with a thick white head. Assertive bitterness right away with sweet malts following, bready with hints of citrus with a dry bitterness, finishes alittle sweet with a sticky mouthfeel. A good session IPA. JCB (1001), Durham, North Carolina, USA Aug 26, 2008 12oz from Peace Street Market, Raleigh. Hazy light orange pour, with a decent head. Slightly hoppy nose at the front, with some sweet aromas too. In many ways, though, the hop qualities are very understated, certainly more so than the commercial description would have you believe. Somewhat bready and malty, in fact, though there’s enough hops to avoid a syrupy quality and the finish is dry enough to please. CSchenning (8), Arlington, Virginia, USA does not count Aug 26, 2008 12 oz. bottle...great head, nice golden color, super hoppy and clean...will grab this guy again...
