Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.
2012 vintage: 6.9% abv

This was not a "profoundly" hoppy IPA, not by any means. Still it was a nice IPA. The nose was full with citrus and honey. The taste fairly bitter, but nothing biting or extreme. This was your basic, no frills, IPA.

22oz bottle in the Californian sun on 30th May 2016. Golden/amber pour with a white topping. Hop lead and finish over a mild malty base, decent IPA with enough bitterness to appeal to hop heads without going ’too far’ or ’over the top’ like some West Coast IPA’s.

35 Bottle at Incheon airport for 12000 won, vintage design. Golden to light amber color, clear with particles. Big white head plenty of lacing. . Aroma of dry american hops and pale malts, orange peel. Bitter taste, light salty. Medium body, medium dry bitter finish.

Aroma levemente frutado, predominância do lúpulo.

12 oz bottle. A bit of green olives and rubbing alcohol in the aroma, but overall about average appeal. Had one during a meal and another one after. The one during the meal tasted much better than the one after, so I have to say this is a good meal beer but not as much flying solo. High malty caramel flavor, a bit too much for me when standing on its own, but with just the right hop flavor and ideal bitterness level improves this one to finish a bit above average.

I knew it was going to be hoppy but did find it very drinkable.

330ml body, ed in a North Coast chalice. Enjoyed at The Globe - Hong Kong. Pours a clear orange color forming a medium white head and leaving some soapy lacings in the glass. Sweet nose. Notes of caramel and tropical fruits like watermelon and passion fruit. Slightly sweet upfront taste. Caramel malts. Grassy hops, grapefruit. Good medium bitter punch. Medium body, good carbonation. Caramel malts and grassy hops in the aftertaste. Good drinkability. Good IPA.

I had this extremely fresh, bottled December and I drank it February. That said, huge bitter hoppy taste, smell, and presence. Drank this out of the bottle, cause I was drinkin it at the park. Fresh hops, cut grass, cut wood, very wood tasting actually. I was thinking oak barrels the whole time. Pretty amazing considering no aging on this one.

12 fl oz bottle from Hippo Beers. 6.9%. Orange gold amber colour, foamy white head leaving lacing and aroma of fruity citrus, hoppy. Taste is pale malt, grain, with some citric hop and metallic bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry grainy earthy bitter finish. Quite OK.
