COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

Relativity clean aroma. Very slight citrusy aroma backed by clean slightly bready malt. Pours a clear golden color. Taste is unfortunately pretty middle of the road and bland though this is a beer that you can drink a few of. Slightly sweet finish with slight lingering bitterness on the back of your tongue if you wash the beer around your mouth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at La Taverna In Kunshan. Pours a very nice copper hue that’s hazy. Pure white head lasts and body has moderate bubbling. Aroma is floral, hoppy, bittersweet and fruity. Taste is bitter malt and light citrus. A real treat after miles of tasteless lagers traveling all over China. Leaves intricate white lace on the glass. Its a decent beer by American standards but numerical rating may reflect withdrawal from availability of good beer. This tastes so fine right now I’m tempted to clean the restaurant out and fill my suitcase to avoid the tsingtao and snow plague in the next town.

On the Eighth Day of Christmas 2013 the beer gods gave to me . . . one terrible pale ale. Wow. North Coast is behind this debacle? Has a nice golden pale orange haze with white foam head but goes downhill from there. A skunky aroma with a malt bomb, rusty taste. Drain pour.
