The sweet aroma is a bit of a tease, considering I don?t taste much. It is smooth, but appropriately named "Acme", as there is nothing that stands out from average...but then I put a cherry flavored Tootsie Roll in it, and it was delicious.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
An average pale ale. Nice little orange / copper pour with mild notes of caramel malts, hop, and citrus. A little thin and lacking in imagination, but ok.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma has a sour malty scent with a little note of hops. Pours a hazy orange with descent carbonation has a nice frothy white head but diminishes very fast leaving a very nice lacing. I am getting some malty citrus and hoppines out of the taste has a citrus after taste. With a little bit of bitterness. Not bad just doesnít do a lot for me as a pale ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a slightly hazy dark yellow with a billowy 1.5 finger head with great retention.
Aroma has a belgian yeast quality to it with lots of fruity esters, especially orange and lemon. A little light bready malt as well.
Taste is quite fruity and full of orange and grapefruit. Again there is that Belgian quality with the spice and fruit. Some light bread it detectable but no flavor is very strong. A light bitterness cleans everything up at the end.
Overall, it is an ok pale ale but somewhat lacking in flavor. The spice and malt is different than other APAís out there but not really enough for me to seek out again.
