2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
I did not like this beer. Appearance was pretty good with a large white head. Weak and watery on top of a flavor that is distinctly malty beer. Sweetish with little in hopps showing up. A beer fit for Wiley Coyote only.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: DEC 7, 2003 Buttery, dark-fruited malt backbone with a gentle hopping. The head doesn't stick around long, and the visuals are a cloudy amber with long-lasting bubbles. I think I would have like this better had there been a less overbearing sweetness and more hops.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thin and watery, a slighly metallic taste. Very dissapointing considering that it is brewed by North Coast. A crappy SNPA imitation.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A very thin beer lacking in any interesting flavors. At least it's a pale ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slightly hazed golden amber liquid with a smallish deep cream colored head. Sheets of lace. Light aromas of malt and floral hops. Full and silky feel. Pale malt sweetness on the front followed by a light sweet floral hops flavor. Continued sweetnees through the finish. Not a bad brew, but for me...between the full feel and the sweetness, this borders on cloying.

As a sierra nevada fan I judge tough on other pale ales. This one though meets if not exceeds the standard.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Good floral aroma. Hints of citrus, grapfruit? Not too hoppy, you can taste the honey in the aftertaste. Only a trickle of carbonation. Nice and easy drinking.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The Acme name is an apt one for this Pale Ale - serviceable, reliable but not outstanding. Light amber color with a small white head that dissipated quickly to a ring of of tiny bubbles around the edge of the glass leaving little lacing. Aroma is moderate malt with predominant floral hops and a hint of lemon. Nice mouthfeel, creamy and medium body with soft carbonation. Average to long hoppy finish with an intriguing metallic acidity. Indeed a "session" beer as the description claims.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear golden amber, with a nice fat white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy, with a strong malt presence, and a little bit of fruitiness. Flavor is clean and malty, with a fairly strong malt backbone. I'm tempted to call this an almost there copy of Sierra Nevada pale ale. It's sort of in the sierra nevada vein, in the fact that it's a pretty hoppy pale ale, but there's not enough complexity going on with the malts. A light cookie bready aftertaste and moderate carbonation, but not enough estery fruitiness. Pretty good, but there's better beers made exactly like this.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sparkling clear, very deep golden-colored beer with a small, ivory-colored, fizzy head. Almost entirely diminishing. No lacework.
The aroma is moderately malty with hints of butterscotch in addition to floral and citrus notes.
Lightly malty flavor up front. Lightly bitter and lightly tart hop presence on the backside for nice balance.
Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Deceptively long, crisp, clean finish. Whispers of butter and wet hay dance upon the palate long after they are expected.
