COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

Light gold color, medium head. A lighter bodied pale ale. Mild hops and malt. Good flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours with a coarse bubbly head which sticks around for a little while. Crystal clear - lightl copper color. Aroma is mild and not as big as some other CA pale ales I’ve tried. Flavor is slightly floral and sweet. Slight mineral aftertaste. Easy drinking. Sampled at about 50F. I’d like to try the draft version closer to the brewry but overall a good beer.

An Okay Pale ale. Admittedly, this is not my style. American Pale ales are too often dominated by the hops. This one is true to that form. Nice full of hops flavor that is just too strong for me.

This is an O.K. APA - no more, no less. medium thick malty body, long lasting hoppiness makes a dry but not crisp finish. orange color, medium head that doesn’t last.

A good pale ale. I felt like i was drinking this one with blackbeard himself with the pirate style bottle. It had a solid taste to it also. Orange flavoring is there and i enjoy orange, so that was good.

not bad has a nice citrusy aftertaste. a decent apa. hops and malt balance well, but could stand to be more hoppy espically for a pale ale

Golden orange in color, foamy head. This has a mild aroma with a balance of malts and hops but neither is too strong. Very sweet, especially after the metalic Dixie Voodoo I just had. Like a fruit salad with a mild bitter hop aftertaste to balance it. A bit light in mouthfeel for me. Certainly not going to blow you away but a nice decent pale. Easily quaffable and pleasant to do so to. A good summer ale.

Nose is hoppy, but some really odd scents here. Reminds me of some cheap-brand orange/mango candy of some sort. Flavor is reminscent of orange soda with sour bitterness at the end. Not real chewy malts for backing, though. Is a bit watery and needs heft. Bah.

A good beer, but an average pale ale.
