3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a slightly hazy dark yellow with a billowy 1.5 finger head with great retention.
Aroma has a belgian yeast quality to it with lots of fruity esters, especially orange and lemon. A little light bready malt as well.
Taste is quite fruity and full of orange and grapefruit. Again there is that Belgian quality with the spice and fruit. Some light bread it detectable but no flavor is very strong. A light bitterness cleans everything up at the end.
Overall, it is an ok pale ale but somewhat lacking in flavor. The spice and malt is different than other APAís out there but not really enough for me to seek out again.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light amber beer with some golden/orange highlights. Slightly hazy, effervescent bubbles, and nice white head. Aroma is very mild, thereís some fruitiness but also an unpleasant hint toward grain husk thatís foreboding. Very easy drinker here, not a ton of depth. There is some sweetness that plays nicely with the biscuity malt, also tending towards a lighter grain, while the hops make an appearance without leaving much behind.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a cloudy pale golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma and Taste of biscuit malt, some grapefruit and fruity notes, with some light grass and a bit of barnyard and yeasty notes, followed by some hops bitterness. A medium body and soft carbonation on the palate. Finish is biscuit malt some light grapefruit and citrus notes with some grassy and mild funky notes. This seems a bit light for the style, needs more hops, and carbonation. Nothing really standout about this brew. Overall an ok brew. I was expecting more from North Coast.
