ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

Bottle from man liquor. Pours a dark clear orange with minimal white head. Nose shows minimal citrus and light bread, very take nose. Taste is much the same. Not much going on, light citrus, malts and a light bitter finish. Nothing special but very easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Mouton Rouge Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear deep gold lasting off white head. Some crystal malt some hop on aroma. It’s an ok pale ale on the flavour, a little bit of decent fruit salad citrus flavours towards the finish. Satsuma and light tangerine. I would imagine it’s slightly better fresh. But the fruit on the finish is really extremely pleasant. Decent peachy fruit.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a small head. Aroma of sweet malts, some honey and mild citrusy notes. Flavour of sweet malts, honey, mild floral bitterness and some biscuit. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Sharp bitter finish with some maltiness. Quite British and not that much of an APA.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a golden colored body that leaves a one finger white head that dies with a moderate pace to a thin coat of foamy head. Some light fast carbonation is seen rising. Barely any lacing is seen. The taste was centered around some English malts and light citrusy hops come in with a certain citrus coming in a bit stronger. It has a slightly clean hop bite. On the palate, it sat at/about a light to medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. Overall, this is not a bad brew. I like this enough to have it again.
