ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

Pours golden orange with fizzy large white foam head that’s slow to dissipate. Brew shows plenty of carbonation and it is strong in the water like texture when drinking. Smells strongly of honey, hops with the citrus notes being more cloudy. Brew has a bite from hops and carbonation that is not so enjoyable. The honey and citrus blend together and leave a weird taste in the mouth.

Amber orange pour. Quickly receding head. Subdued nose, some light hops, citrus, honey. Medium bodied. Flavors mirror the nose. Crisp, clean finish, a bit on the sweet side.

Purchased at Breeze Thru Liquors in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed on a hot summer day in St. Germain, WI. App slightly cloudy gold, slightly amber thin white head that rims around the glass. Aroma of light citrusy hops, orange peel, light hay malt, smells nice and light. Taste is slightly refreshing, orange peel the primary ingredient, aside from that its pretty much a standard pale ale, nothing too crazy about it.

Poured out of a bottle. Light copper color, nice white head. Fruity aroma. Light boring citrus flavor.

The sweet aroma is a bit of a tease, considering I don?t taste much. It is smooth, but appropriately named "Acme", as there is nothing that stands out from average...but then I put a cherry flavored Tootsie Roll in it, and it was delicious.

An average pale ale. Nice little orange / copper pour with mild notes of caramel malts, hop, and citrus. A little thin and lacking in imagination, but ok.

Aroma has a sour malty scent with a little note of hops. Pours a hazy orange with descent carbonation has a nice frothy white head but diminishes very fast leaving a very nice lacing. I am getting some malty citrus and hoppines out of the taste has a citrus after taste. With a little bit of bitterness. Not bad just doesn’t do a lot for me as a pale ale.
