COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

Bottle- Pours a slightly hazy golden color, dull white head. I get almost no malt flavor to this. Mildly hoppy, thin body, lots of apple in it.

Overall, a pretty dull pale ale with none of the hop tinge that you’d expect. Very bready with a stale aftertaste.

Bottle from man liquor. Pours a dark clear orange with minimal white head. Nose shows minimal citrus and light bread, very take nose. Taste is much the same. Not much going on, light citrus, malts and a light bitter finish. Nothing special but very easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Mouton Rouge Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear deep gold lasting off white head. Some crystal malt some hop on aroma. It’s an ok pale ale on the flavour, a little bit of decent fruit salad citrus flavours towards the finish. Satsuma and light tangerine. I would imagine it’s slightly better fresh. But the fruit on the finish is really extremely pleasant. Decent peachy fruit.

At Brewery taphouse. Ok aroma sweet. Mild citrus. Caramel. Clean golden orange color. Good head and lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Light body. Creamy mouthfeel. Bitter sweet finish. It’s fine. Again not over the top good lawnmower.
