COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

Nice copper color with fruity aroma. Flavor is difficult to pin down (mild hops, cirtus, and woodsy). Smooth and refreshing. Me likey.

This is a very clean and easy drinking beer. There is a small amount of burton salts lingering in the background but the taste is of very good caramel maltyness but not sweet. There are a good deal of noble hops in here, not very bitter but plenty of juicy hopness laced with a citrus bittering that is perfect compliment to the malt body. For a pale ale in between a mild and a full American Pale this is wonderful and very drinkable.

Clear amber, large off-white head that lasts nicely and leaves nice lace. Toffee and light citrus aroma. Medium body, slightly resinous mouthfeel. LIght brown sugar, bitter lemon and grapefruit lead to a bitter end that leaves a lingering astringency.

Full fruity C-hop nose and a nice amber-orange color, bit hazy. Gorgeous fruity hop flavor and only moderate bitterness to balance a lightly sweet malty center. Could be drier for my own taste but highly drinkable, and frankly more tasty than the rougher Red Seal.

Bottle- Pours a copper color with a nice head and some lacing. Fairly mild aroma of citrus and malty sweetness. Flavor of mild malt sweetness with a nice bitterness. Has a dry finish. Medium body, smooth and creamy. Very well balanced. Very enjoyable pale ale. Easy drinker. Well worth a try.

where is this woman swinging? is she swinging? just be careful, your holding a beverage. pour: classic pale ale. nose: sweet pale malt, carbonation bitternessss mouth: like hops in your pale? wont find here, however nice malt character, lightly hopped, not much bitterness with a slight hop resin taste. mouth medium/light giving way quickly. overall, nice, easily quaffed, for those who like hoppy pales dont expect that here, this brew lets the malt shine foward, with a nice pin up girl. falling on a dangerous swing.

Bottle at La Taverna In Kunshan. Pours a very nice copper hue that’s hazy. Pure white head lasts and body has moderate bubbling. Aroma is floral, hoppy, bittersweet and fruity. Taste is bitter malt and light citrus. A real treat after miles of tasteless lagers traveling all over China. Leaves intricate white lace on the glass. Its a decent beer by American standards but numerical rating may reflect withdrawal from availability of good beer. This tastes so fine right now I’m tempted to clean the restaurant out and fill my suitcase to avoid the tsingtao and snow plague in the next town.

355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear golden orange, thin white head. Big pine and resin aromas, very bready too. Taste is bitter, some caramel. A little thin if anything, but a nice pale.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2007 Rerate Solid, session worthy APA, just the right amount of bitterness and sweetness. Nice orange, amber hue, decent head and sprucey aroma. Clean mouthfeel Original 4.1 Excellent - North Coast impresses me again. Clean, fruity aroma. Tart, but not overly hoppy flavor and a thick long lasting head. Finishes strong - looking forward to the IPA next.

Bottled, Stockholm Beer Festival. Orange colour. Aroma: A little swimmingpool, a little butter and a little melon. Flavour: Chewy hoppy but smooth still. Medium bitter. Maybe a little thin.
