Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2013. Very dark ruby thin beige head. Thats really good. Malty. Just a really well put together beer with prunes and plums and dark strawberry. Pretty good. Some warmth on end. Good steawberry jam

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The strength is evident, but it doesnít detract from the ale too much. This is a dark ale with a slight glow and an inbetween frothy-creamy head. Itís a winter warmer with a fruitiness to match the season, more so in aroma than taste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On cask at New Barracks Tavern - A very dark brown coloured beer with a touch of ruby and a beige head. The aroma is malty and dry with forest fruit notes. The taste is roasty and malty with more fruitiness, the body is a bit on the heavy side though. A good long finish to a tasty beer.
