Cask, Seasonal, Winter;
Rich, ruby coloured ale. Roasted malts and American hops combine to release rich berry fruit flavours.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Dark brown with slight head, the appearance of Coca cola. Dark, roasty sweetish malty beer, little hop character, all a little one dimensional, but reasonable.

Cask gravity at Pigs Ear BF 2008. Dark ruby colour with lasting beige head. Bit of farty yeast on aroma. Drinkable strong dark ale. Not quite as good as some of the previous years. Liquorice on aroma, not great condition. Bit restrained. Decent.
