Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A golden coloured beer with a loose white head and some lacing. The aroma is malty and a bit biscuity. The taste is malty and nutty. There is some citricity, but also a tiny amount of diacetyl. Quite ordinary for Acorn, which is an excellent brewery.

Cask, Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield. This clicked very nicely. Wanted another straight away, which is always a good sign !! The elements of citrus and hops operate in unison extremely well to give an eminently glaggable golden ale.

Cask in Bon Accord, im guessing this was in bad shape. Grassy and cellar note in aroma. Taste is similarly oxidised and rawly bitter.

Cask handpull at the Rotherham Oakwood Beer Festival. Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma is malt/tobacco and a little earthy. Flavors are fairly hop-dominated, so fairly bitter, earthy, fruity, grassy/vegetal.
