Garrold (1332) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2014
Bottle from Shelley Garden Centre, West Yorkshire. I’d hope this was a bit of a duff bottle, because it was like the liquid version of a well buttered, overripe banana sandwich. Which is alright as a sandwich. But as for a beer...

Bottle bier huis ossett. Pours with little head a light gold colour. Slight fruit aroma with hop. A malty start soon overpowered by strong hops. Bitter finish. Pretty good

Lighter golden coloured ale, but with plenty of body and character. Has a mild bitterness and some fruitiness.

Bottle bought 28 Dec 12, Best Before May 13, Batch 2963 Clear pale gold, frothy off-white head. Accidentally sniffed the head - noticeable yeast aroma in the nostril. Getting mainly a doughy smell. The dough follows through in the flavour before giving way to the crisp, dry hoppy bitterness touted by the bottle. Not everyone’s idea of a good beer, but I like it.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small, macropore to frothy, white head. Fruity aroma has a decent apple note, grainy and husky overtones. Taste is initially malty and minimally fruity, some husky notes come in, before bitter hop notes take completely over.

foxo82 (692) - Tamworth (via Leicester), Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2012
Bottle from beersofeurope.co.uk. Blonde beer with a decent head for a bottled ale with excellent duration. Smells rich - honey, treacle, malt and bread and has a woody bitterness that lingers on the tongue. Could do with a little more texture to really hit the high scores but this is a quality ale.

rauchbier (3610) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2012
Bottle. Gold, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Gentle fruity citrus, melon and grain in the nose, chalky and hop bitter in the mouth with some graininess remaining but rather unbalanced, mostly bitter in the finish with a faint fruitiness.
