UPDATED: SEP 27, 2009 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A golden coloured beer with a loose white head and some lacing. The aroma is malty and a bit biscuity. The taste is malty and nutty. There is some citricity, but also a tiny amount of diacetyl. Quite ordinary for Acorn, which is an excellent brewery.Score 3.3

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2004 Orange/gold colour. Rather dumb on the nose. Very lemony flavours, but not much else to introduce additional interest. Sharp, but short, finish. Perfectly acceptable, but a bit one-dimensional. Cask (gravity), London Drinker beer festival.
