Cask handpull, The Smithfield Hotel, Manchester, 02/04/11. Brilliant gold with a level white foam lacing with each sip. Perfumed soapy hop aroma with juicy grass dabs. Lemon and grapefruit rind, huge bittering hop with licks of husk and biscuity balance. Too bitter. Just OK.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2012 Cask conditioned handpump Cask Pub & Kitchen London. A golden beer with a white head and lacing. Rubbery in both nose and mouth. Fruity notes. Sharp bitterness in mouth. A bit of car tyre. Way off the ball for Acorn who are usually spot on. Score 2.2
