On gravity at the Mermaid, St Albans 15/02/09. Reddish copper in colour with a moderate, off-white head. Aroma of fruity malts and leafy hops. Well-balanced flavour with some chewy malts, a hint of sweetness and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask at JDW. Lovely deep red bitter that will lace all the way down the glass. Nicely hopped with pleasant berry fruitiness. Smooth, quite sticky mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Good stuff.

Ungstrup (23917) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 8, 2010
Cask at The New Oxford, Manchester. A dark red-brown beer with a rim of brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt as well as a touch of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, roasted malt, and soy sauce - somewhat weird flavor combination. The body is light.
